It is worn on the Insignia Tab on the left side of the uniform, centered above the heart.

Place the insignia tab on the girl's left shoulder.
- If the girl is wearing a sash, pin the insignia tab to the girl's shirt.
- If the girl is wearing a vest, pin the insignia tab to the vest.
The World Association Trefoil Pin and the Membership Pin are pinned to the insignia tab, with the World Trefoil Pin on the top.
On the right shoulder of the sash or vest, place these patches from the top down:
- American Flag Patch
- Council Identification Patch (both halves)
- Troop Numerals
- Membership Stars with Discs
- Bridge to Girl Scout Cadette Award Patch
- Brownie Wings
